Queen's Domain Endings: Every Route and Requirement

All four Queen's Domain endings explained: the default finish, the gods' lenses route, the 99.9% bestiary route and the hidden silver skull ending.

Last Updated: 2026-11-04
The short version

The community has documented four endings. Ending 1 is the default finish. Ending 2 needs at least three gods' lenses and a second Holy Sword evolution. Ending 3 needs all lenses, every NPC collection quest and 99.9% bestiary. Ending 4 is the hidden "Eat." route: collect 69 silver skulls, take them to the Petrified Garden, use four lenses and five trident keys, trigger the fish statue, and then complete Ending 3 again. The developers have not published an official ending list or official requirements, so treat every condition here as community-reported.

Queen's Domain does not label its endings. There is no chapter select, no ending gallery and no post-credits checklist. The game simply plays a different final sequence depending on what you did before the last boss. That makes the requirements easy to misunderstand, and it makes "how many endings are there?" a harder question than it looks.

This page separates what the community has verified from what is still guesswork. It contains full spoilers for the finale and for the hidden route.

How endings are triggered

The endings are not chosen from a menu. The game checks your save when you finish the final sequence, and the result depends on:

  • how many gods' lenses you collected;
  • whether you completed the NPC collection quests;
  • your bestiary completion percentage;
  • whether you completed the hidden silver skull route.

Because the checks happen at the end, you can meet most requirements before the final boss and still see the default ending if you miss one flag. The game does not warn you. This is the main reason players report "I did everything and got Ending 1".

Community-reported, not official

The four-ending structure comes from Steam community testing and player reports. The developers have not published an official count or an official requirements table. If a future patch changes a flag, the community route is the first thing that will update.

The four endings at a glance

Ending Community-reported requirement What changes
Ending 1 Finish the game without the optional flags Default finale
Ending 2 At least 3 gods' lenses; second Holy Sword evolution Extended sword/finale sequence
Ending 3 All lenses, all NPC collection quests, 99.9% bestiary Full completion finale
Ending 4 69 silver skulls at the Petrified Garden, 4 lenses, 5 trident keys, then Ending 3 again Hidden "Eat." sequence

The table is a summary, not a checklist you can follow blindly. The order matters, especially for Ending 4, which sits on top of Ending 3 rather than replacing it.

Ending 1: the default finish

Ending 1 is what you get if you reach the final boss and finish without meeting the optional conditions. It is not a "bad" ending and it is not a punishment. It is the baseline version of the finale, and it is the one most first playthroughs see.

If you want to see the others, do not start a new save immediately. The ending flags are evaluated at the finale, so a save made before the last sequence can be reused if you have the required items.

Ending 2: the gods' lenses route

Ending 2 requires at least three gods' lenses. The lenses are used in the second evolution of the Holy Sword, and the community reports that three is the minimum for this ending, not the total number in the game.

What to do:

  1. Collect at least three gods' lenses before the final sequence.
  2. Complete the second Holy Sword evolution.
  3. Finish the game.

The lens count is the part players get wrong. Collecting three lenses but skipping the sword evolution does not trigger Ending 2; the evolution is the flag, not the inventory count. The Holy Sword Endu guide covers the evolution path.

If you have four lenses, you have enough for Ending 2, but four is also part of the Ending 4 route. Do not spend them carelessly if you are aiming for the hidden ending.

Ending 3: the completion route

Ending 3 is the "full" ending, and it has three requirements:

  • All gods' lenses.
  • Every NPC collection quest completed.
  • 99.9% bestiary.

The bestiary requirement is the one that stops most players. 99.9% is effectively full completion; a single missing entry can keep the ending locked. The bestiary guide lists the entries and the missable creatures.

The NPC collection quests are not the main story quests. They are the small fetch requests from NPCs, and some are easy to abandon when the reward looks minor. Track them before the final boss; there is no post-game free roam that lets you clean up after the credits.

Ending 3 is also the base for Ending 4. You cannot skip it.

Ending 4: the hidden "Eat." route

Ending 4 is the route most players ask about, and it is the one with the most unverified steps. The community-reported method:

  1. Collect 69 silver skulls.
  2. Take them to the Petrified Garden.
  3. Have four gods' lenses and five trident keys.
  4. Knock on the fish statue three or four times.
  5. Activate the symbols that appear.
  6. Jump into the space under one of the houses.
  7. Complete Ending 3 again.

The "Eat." name comes from the achievement hint associated with the route. The exact interaction window on the fish statue is reported as three to four knocks; if the symbols do not appear, try one more knock before you leave.

Do the skulls before the finale

The silver skulls are collectibles spread across the world. Gathering 69 of them after the final boss is not possible in a completed save, so treat the skull route as a pre-finale checklist item.

What is still unverified

The community has not agreed on:

  • whether the skull count is exactly 69 or "69 or more";
  • whether the trident keys are consumed;
  • whether the four lenses must be unused at the time of the ritual;
  • whether the house you jump under is fixed or any house works.

If your attempt fails, check the skull count and the lens state first. Those are the two most common reported mistakes.

Which ending should you aim for?

If you are playing once, finish normally and watch Ending 1. It is coherent on its own, and it does not require a guide.

If you are a completionist, plan for Ending 3 before the final boss: lenses, NPC quests and bestiary. Then, if you have the skulls, do the Petrified Garden ritual and finish again for Ending 4. Ending 2 is the middle route for players who want the sword evolution but not the full completion grind.

Do not try to do all four in one run. The ending checks are not additive in the way players expect, and the safe approach is to keep a save before the final sequence.

FAQ

How many endings does Queen's Domain have? The community has documented four. The developers have not published an official ending count, so the number could change if a patch adds or changes a finale flag.

How do you get Ending 2? Collect at least three gods' lenses, complete the second Holy Sword evolution, then finish the game.

What does Ending 3 require? All gods' lenses, every NPC collection quest, and 99.9% bestiary completion.

How do you unlock the hidden Ending 4? Collect 69 silver skulls, take them to the Petrified Garden with four lenses and five trident keys, knock on the fish statue, activate the symbols, jump under a house, then complete Ending 3 again.

Can you see the endings after the credits? There is no reported ending gallery or chapter select. Keep a save before the final sequence if you want to see another route.
